Travelers from non-EU and Schengen countries is allowed without restrictions for passengers who have one of the following documents:
– A vaccination certificate that proves the traveler has completed the immunization process against the virus with any of the vaccines approved by Finnish authorities
– A certificate of coronary heart disease
– A negative test result of the Coronavirus test from no more than 72 hours before arrival
Travelers without any of the requirements mentioned above will be required to undergo a COVID-19 testing process upon their arrival.
Children born 2007 or later do not have to take part in any health security measures.
There are no entry restrictions for residents of the countries and regions on the EUs green list. Countries on the green have a sufficiently good epidemiological situation for which the Council of the European Union has decided to allow free travel to the EU.
Travelers who have received a complete vaccination series may be granted entry into Finland from any country, provided that at least 14 days have passed since the last vaccine dose has been received.

In Finland, providing proof of full vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 or a negative test result is required to access, such as bars and restaurants, museums, swimming pools, large events.
The use of facemasks is recommended throughout the country.
Finnish health authorities recommend to keeping a distance of at least 2-metres from others.
The hygiene requirements for events are in force. Restrictions may also restrict the number of customers or prohibit events altogether. The restrictions are based on an assessment of the risk of infection at the event.
Decisions on restrictions concerning events and gatherings are made by a municipality, or by a Regional State Administrative Agency if the decisions apply to several municipalities.
